Getting a new design together meant a trip to the sink for some perfect sample yarn that was lingering in the wings stalled and sad.
On the way to fabulous: discovered my old show rack was the perfect size and height to dry the yarn at just the right distance from a soft heat source…

v.2 Preparing yarn to be recycled…
After I re-skein used yarn using my wooden swift, I knot the skein end in the center of a skein tie.
This makes a quick and clean way to find the beginning of the skein to wind after the yarn is refreshed with a wash & dry.
