Buppin’ FRESH!
bupcot.jpg

I saw my first Dandy Lions this week
and that means only one thing!
Time to make the Cotton Bottoms UP!

The wonderful and talented Becky from Fluffa is hosting a BucketAlong HERE.

I got all excited by the possibilities and went to Joann Fabrics and with the exception of the fuschia Sierra by Cascade Yarns, came home with some very FUN yarn for some summery Buckets!

The rave contiuned in the Applique Aisle and I garnered some fun little flowers and trims to go on the hats – love the Daisies!

And who could resist the little card shaped like a dress with some gingham ribbon and little roses also made from ribbon?

But of course, my favorite is in the upper right corner, the Shrek-sized Daisy to go on the band of a very Fresh BUP!

  1. I definitely need to get me some yarn for a summer bucket hat. I love your green daisy and yellow yarn! Oh, my girls will probably want one too…..

Hooks ‘n’ eyes are almost on my eyelet cardi (I know, it’s taken me forever to get those–first I came home with the wrong size) so I’ll be able to wear it this weekend, hopefully! yay!

  2. Oh! I got some of that Sugar Babies in pink…here’s my chance to use it. It’d make a great solid color bucket, because the first two I’m doing are going to be variegated. Nice way to diversify the accessories!

  3. Love it, love it! I am going to have to make matching hats for me and my daughter. What a fun project. Can’t wait to see your finished bups.
