Frogpile #3 June 7, 2012

This is dedicated to all of those folks out there, knitters, writers, students, y’all, who are right now facing a deadline (or recently completed one).

Whether it’s your High School Finals, or in my case, a sample that has an agenda, putting one’s nose to the grindstone when Mother Nature is just starting to FINALLY smile on the Midwest seems so cruel.

Especially when your project goes Haywire…

This is my third rendition of a part of a new design I’m putting together for a sooner-than-almost humanly possible debut.

I worked on it until the wee hours and then, when I got up this morning, after a clarifying cuppa, made it into the pile you see above.

Yes, it could’ve gone to the finish line as was.

Yes, it could’ve taken a load offa.

but No, it wouldn’t have had the proper exquisiteness needed to leave the building and go On the Road.

[ie. Walk of Shame or Walk of Fame?]

The light of day made the decision easy(ier).

BAM!

It takes about 30 seconds to rip something out and it will take about 3 hours to bring this back to speed. For the 4th and the win, that’s 12 hours of frog/finesse.

I will love every second of it – because while this might never achieve Perfection, this might just achieve Impeccable.
