nature’s grellow October 25, 2012

I can hear the leaves falling on the ground outside. A gentle wind. A rustling snap.

Holding on?

The Yellow Trees.

They stand against the clear blue sky torchlike and bright.

Incredibly, warmly, translucent, they shine.

So easy to stroll under their arms, looking up, all the while walking and listening to the scrunch and pop of the fallen leaves underfoot. I twirl.

Magically inviting, the deck bekons with a task all its own: more double-point needle knitting!

Thanks to everyone who left hints and tips — I found I was enjoying an accidental arrangement (that most of you mentioned was the way for speed)…
