  1. Bonne Marie! I love the new sweaters! The basic chic hoodie is so much cuter than a fleece hoodie could ever be (imo), and I love that you included a lace version too. Worsted weight? DK?

Cassidy is gorgeous. Might make me break out of lace and try some cables. And even FINISH a sweater before the season ends!

But I can’t think of fall right now, I spent today searching for the perfect dress for my brother’s wedding. And I found it, so pardon the run on mouth, I’ve driven many miles and tried on many dresses, all fueled with double espresso on the go!

  2. One of each, please….these are fabulous. These will look great in So Cal cotton.

  3. Ooooh, top down! I love them all! I was going to do another Twist or Ribby Pulli, but maybe I’ll do one of your new ones.

  4. Love the new collection. Classic and flattering is always my favourite. The link to Lizzie Ann’s Wool Company in Holland, Michigan has an extra forward slash at the end so it doesn’t work as is. I got there fine by omitting it but for the few that might not figure this out I thought I’d let you know. I have no affiliation with the store.

  5. Love your new Fall collection. When will the patterns be available? Internet retailers don’t seem to have them as yet.

  6. Thanks so much for all the kind words! I am very excited about these sweaters — have already made myself a pulli and am about half done with the hoodie!

I’m in the process of updating the links pages as we add retailers — be sure to hit REFRESH when you view to get the latest.

Pamela — have you tried the Loopy Ewe for an online source?

  7. Oh Poo! Just when I hit the sleeve finish line for the Ribby Cardi, you pull another glorious design out of your felted Bucket Hat!!

    No fair!

I can’t keep up! Do you think I can make the Classic Hoodie, a Classic collar easily. (Not a big hood fan…I just don’t need any more bulk ….. anywhere.)

  8. Wow, all perfectly gorgeous! Loves those cables & especially what you did with the pockets in the ribbing — fantastic!!! I think I seriously need to speak to my LYS about carrying ChicKnits. =>

  9. Beautiful hoodies! Will the patterns be available for direct online purchase?
I’m in the UK, so no local retailers of ChicKnits patterns!

  10. You know I always love your designs. I’ve been behind with blogs lately, but I love these new designs. Just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello. Great job Bonne Marie.

  11. I love the Basic Chic Pulli, but I can’t find it in stock anywhere. Could you provide gauge and yarn requirements, so we can plot while we wait? ;-)

  12. I LOVE your new designs! I just got the two hoodie patterns yesterday from Loopy Ewe and the Basic Hoodie is up next on Knitting To Do List – just as soon as I finish October Frost! Love it! I’ve got some plans for this one!

  13. These new patterns are so great! I love the basic with option to add lace details concept. Do you think you’ll do men’s designs in the future? I’d love a good-looking, basic male sweater to add to my patterns library.
