Chic Knits Basic Chic Pulli

Perhaps it’s never been in doubt, but who doesn’t love BUBBLES? And who doesn’t love making postcards…

We had a blast with this pullover. Photo shoots are a lot like carnival rides: more flags OR more fun! And this one was fun (the model tried to sneak away wearing this pulli) especially once we picked up the bubbles.

They were some swag (from the Easter holiday that remained after the Peeps were gone) just lying around on a counter and we took a break and then all of a sudden they were in the shot destined to fall into the hands of a stone cold photoshop geek…

  1. I love your new Basic Chic Collection and was so glad to see you had the Pulli for sale as a downloadable file since The Loopy Ewe was out of it when I got your two new Hoodie patterns! Love Them!

  2. I too am very excited to see this available on your site. I’ve just got to finish my other sweater so I can start this one!

  3. I am finishing the Eyelet Cardigan, and downloaded the Pulli on Sunday, and ordered the Hoddie last night from the Loopy Ewe. I am a true fan of your patterns. The best part is with your yarn list I have so many of the yarns in my stash – I am going to be knitting a few of these as presents for Christmas.

The Eyelet is knitted in black Rowan Wool/Cotton with cuffs and band knitted in hot pink EL Silky Wool, with added crystal pink beads. I used a slip stitch rib and it turned out lovely. I have the button band and the collar to knit, sew on the pink/black glass button and block.

I will post a picture on my blog when finished.

  4. Oooh, bubbles! I have little bottle left from my nephew’s wedding and can’t help but blow a few inside every once in a while. I was never allowed to blow bubbles inside as a kid (which never made sense, cause it’s soap), so it feels sillily empowering to blow bubbles in my own house. (ok, so I’m easily amused…)

    Cassidy is lovely-kudos once again!

  5. Wow, it’s been forever…what did I miss. Ooooh, new patterns, you temptress you. Someday when I have time to knit for myself again *wistful sigh* Missed ya!
