This reminds me of all the sweaters I knit for my Barbie!
Wow, I think my mom had this book in the 1960s! She knitted a lot of beautiful Barbie and Ken clothes for me, and I seem to remember both those sweaters. I especially loved the Scandinavian one–she knit it in navy with white designs.
I know!
That’s actually how I got very interested in knitting!
The first real garments I made was a cardi /skirt set out of nutty brown fingering weight yarn for my bouffant-ed Barbie.
It was my first raglan too. :)
Maybe I’ll be able to find the pattern someday – I purchased it with my allowance at the dime store. Maybe a Coats & Clark?
I find those miniature deer strangely disturbing;) It’s like the “Attack of the 50-Foot Teen Dolls.”
