  1. You ROCK, miss! That’s a very lovely cardi. And I really appreciate the necklines/edging info.

    Have a fab labor day!

  2. As a big cardi lover I’d love to knit this pattern! It’s so cute and the aran weight will make for a quicker to knit sweater. Hope it’ll be available for purchase.

  3. Thank you Bonnie! Scoop du Jour is the inspiration I needed to reintroduce myself to the neglected knitting machine that as been hidden under my bed for many years. Visual proof
that it is possible to combine machine and hand knitting with wonderful results.
    Linda

  4. Bonne Marie, that is a SMASHING shape. It’s scoopalicious! I love that it would be equally perfect as you’ve shown it, with a dress shirt, as with a tank top. Good show!

  5. I am a sucker for that chunky ribbing; it”s a beautimous cardi, and please do put me down as another knitter that would be happy to but the pattern ;)

  6. Hi BonneMarie, Just what knitting machine would you recommend for a handknitter wanting to incorporate a machine once in a while???? Thank you you’re an inspiration!

  7. Omigod! Did I just watch you whip up a sweater in a week? Are you on vacation? Nah, you’re just our amazing knitting goddess. Brava!

  8. That’s madly wicked cute. How terrifically exciting that it’s partly machine knit. Love quick gratification. Inspiring!

  9. TEEEheeee – you just tickle my brain! Thanks for all the KIND KIND thoughts!!! I heart you ALL!

This was so much fun to make and I look forward to writing more about the machine/hand knitting stuff in the future. I think a lot of people have Bonds they aren’t using and it would be fun to stir up those JUICES!

I am going to write up this pattern in the next couple of weeks – I wore it alot already and it’s become my new *housedress*…
