Surprising color found on a forgotten corner.
Even on a winter day with lingering snow flurries, a subtle burst of color appears. This industrial building near Blue Island Ave. is painted the way a lot of old buildings are: as needed and probably with whatever paint is on hand.
All these pictures are from one building — a machine shop and I can just imagine that the paint on the building sequentially changed in color over the years as the leftovers piled up from jobs well done inside just as its architecture changed as additions were added piecemeal here and there until it wrapped around the block.
Most amusing to me: when I opened the pictures to look at them from the disk, I found the same lake tones I found the last time we visited the Muse…
Eye candy, the colors & textures. I like these glimpses through your eyes.
The colors are speaking to you, don’t you think?
once the weather breaks you and i need to go picture exploring! :-)

Your observations of the common everyday items never cease to amaze me, what you see and your view point is just, well, amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I was wondering about that. Also see your favorite dress.
