Love that the ribbie cardie was on elann this morning! I had to throw in 12 extra balls of the peruvian wool so I could make it, in two colors of course.
OMG…Just did my daily drive by of Elann.com to check out what’s new. I was looking at the sweater pic for the latest yarn and thought…hmmm that looks just like your ribby cardi. And it is. Congratulations!!!
Hey, who won the contest?
Ribby Cardi looks great..I saw it first at elann. What happened to the BUP?
hey Natalie – the winner was announced on Friday – Miss Andrea Kurtz from Stanford, CA was the happy choice! :)
Oooh, saw your Ribbi Cardi on Elann. Very impressed dahling! It looks scrumptous. I believe I will be adding it to my collection very soon!
Can you believe it!!! It is so exciting – the Ribby Cardi finally makes it on the RUNWAY!!!
I was waiting for the Ribby Cardi to come back, and there it is, along with yarn on sale. Thank you, Bonne Marie!
Now, to the next question: colors??? What’s going to look good when I finally finish it, months from now? What are other people thinking about?
You are one of the only bloggers out there who i think has more energy then me for blogging about knitting! I luv reading your blog. I plan on buying the ribbed cardi as soon as I GET A FREAKIN FO .. lol
I see you’re starting the sideways spencer, that’s one of my possible next projects, can’t wait to hear your tales of joy and woe. Hopefully it will behave and not have to sit in the corner! Though punishment seems to have done wonders for your fluffa cardi!
Love the ribbie cardie! To make it in two colors, how much do I need of each? Say I needed 10 balls total, how many for the sleeves and how many for the bod? TIA :-)
:) The colors I used are Celadon and Nutmeg Heather. The sleeves/trim take 1/3 of the total yarn. :)
Singing “Dyeing Queen” to the ABBA tune….
