  1. Where did you get that bag? Would you just die if you saw me with one just like it on the 66?

  2. I can barely look at those smushed glasses. Seriously, it pains me. Physically. I wonder if you grew up in a house like mine, where glasses were sacred items, and damage to them (accidental or no) was the single most awful trangression you could ever possibly commit…

  3. The demise of the glasses made me physically ILL! I really needed them to complete my assignment that day and when I found them smashed in the gutter – FLATTENED by MY OWN TIRES – I almost fainted…

Glasses, with my upbringing, were also rather sanctifed objects…

Maureen – I got the bag at the Marshall Field’s in River Oaks Plaza down on 159th & Torrance… They had them in Pink and Yellow too! :)

  4. Bonne Marie, was that sound I heard on your blog the sound of your glasses getting smushed?

  5. The Sound: more like the WAV equivalent of *LOSER* !!! Just hit the F5 key on your computer keyboard to hear it again…

  6. Wow – that sound made me look elsewhere – in my cube farm I thought someone had passed some gas!!!

  7. Wow, that sucks about those glasses. Maybe work should pay for the new ones since their truck ran over them. Sneak ’em on an expense report.
