Like many of you it seems, something’s sneaked up on us all: ye olde Holidaze!
No. Really. Seven days from now and NOTHING’s Done.
Sugar plums dancing in my head? Nay. And there are no elves doing night duty that I’ve noticed so I am plum out of luck!
What you see above is a feeble attempt to make it all go away: cast-on a hat out of some nice touchy feeley yarn and go to it!
It also helps that the color is my fave — a little eye-sugar to help the medicine go down.
Yummy navy Malabrigo has got to make it to the bitter end, no?
Memo: maybe it’s a good thing the fam&friends adore those gift cards after all.
This weekend the Crockpot’s gonna be cookin’ and the needles are going to be clickin’.
Who else is on this crazy ride?
Oh I am on the crazy ride! So needing some knitting time this weekend. Merry Christmas Bonne Marie
Gosh yes! I’m not doing knitted gifts this Christmas, because there is no time. Instead I’m making biscotti, pear and chocolate spread, pate de fruit and as many things as I can cram into a few short hours of the weekend.
I’m along for the ride, too!!!!!
How serendipitous(love that word)! I am working on a Cassidy cap right now and was thinking it would also make a great cowl. Thanks for the advice. Cheers to you!
I’m on the ride too!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, enjoy the ride. :)
I gave up the Holiday Tilt-a-Whirl, but I wish you the best as you sprint toward the finish line. Happy Merry!
Tilt-a-Whirl!!
I am feeling rather dizzy…
You betcha I am! And all I want to do is knit for me!!!Dang.
Yeah, I said no holiday knitting, then I thought “maybe a pair or two of handwarmers, they go fast, then a baby hat or two” and before you know it, I’m on the crazy train. Good luck!
Cast on a scarf, if I am lucky it will be done for New Year. Oh well, I already have a gift for him.
