   I thought it looked a lot like what all the teenage boys were sporting that I saw at the Auto show last week…

   Bangs are not for everyone.

3. So nice to know that we all had those awkward teenage years…..

4. By strange coincidence, my Mom & I just picked out some adorable frames for her in Chicago this weekend. We were at Optica in The Shops at Northbridge (you know, the mall that’s attached to Nordstrom’s downtown). We worked with Jimmy Gilliland, who was divine. Not cheap, but hey. You wear ’em on your face every day.

   I just got new glasses – prada vpr071 in tortoise. I love them. They’d be pretty on you too! :-)

7. So George C’s middle school (or Jr. High) has a whole gaggle of alumna who kicking themselves for not picking up on a good thing, back before it was obvious to everyone.

   Good luck on the glasses. I actually like my next to last pair best — they’re prodesign:denmark – very colorful.

8. I found some great frames at See in Old Orchard (I’m sure there’s one in the city somewhere). They have good sales.
