8. “Nut” as in nuts and bolts = “Mutter” in German. Google was just covering all the possible bases with no sense of context.

14. I would translate “appetizer” into “sample” or “preview”, a selection that gives a taste of what the artist has to offer. The craft2eu.net website seems to label all their presentations of artists as “appetizers”. Spend some time on the site, there are lots of interesting artists there!
