Ok, I admit it. Even though one of the biggest parties in Chicago is coming up Sunday and I really don’t need an excuse, I’ll admit it.
I need a new outfit!
[i’ll admit it – I LOVE NEW CLOTHES!]
And even though I can’t Make it in MEE.am.MEE I can make it quite alright in the Big Windy.
Tropical Colors? No problem…
I have no Fear!
This is my favorite-favorite-shirt, a chiffon, chartruese, semi-sheer tailored number. It has made appearances in many a Captial City, busted a move in many a night spot, dressed UP, Dressed down.
It wants to go to the Game.
Who am I to say No?
This is a size 38. I made the ribbing longer, the shell 1″ shorter and the neck decreases at the same time I started the armhole decreases. I am in the process of adding these options and more sizes to this pattern – sign up HERE to be notified of Chic Knits UpDates…
That is very generous of you, letting your shirt go to the game. Again, love the new ribby shell.
I am thinking I may need a couple of those hats in MY team’s colors…baseball team that is. And I definitely need at least 4 ribby shells.
Bonne Marie,
Beautiful!!! I have some Mountain Colors in a similar colorway that is burning a whole in its storage box. Perhaps this is the pattern it has been waiting for!
Really nice, I love seeing Lorna’s laces made into a garment! And your ribby vest is terrific.
I LOVE the vest and the shirt together–that’s a great color combo!
Beautiful! And a shirt that has been through so much with you? Should definitely get to go to the game!!!
You make a vest look soooo feminine. Great project. I’ll be waiting for size update.
i love it!! beautiful colors and it is just vibrant and gorgeous against that green. lovely work chica!
OMG, absolutely adore that Ribby Shell! That reminds me that I should make another one for winter in wool. Great idea. I’ll be sure to sign up for your updates, but I think I might already be on the list.
FABULOUS!!
Oooh, I need a ribby vest, too. I have NO vests in my closet. Great color choice!
Please make your patterns in smaller sizes starting with 32″.
Thank you.
Love Ribby Shell! And the shirt should definitely add a game party to its life experiences!
I love those colours together, they are perfect. Totally fab (as always).

Ah chartreuse, a lady after my own heart. I don’t think I have ever seen your mannequin quite as dressed before!
Love the look of the vest from the Ribbi Shell. You have so many great patterns, and I want to knit a lot of them; me and umpteen hundred other knitters. Thanks for the compliment on my Highland Triangle Shawl.
