TGIF!!! NOW it’s time for some fun…
Chic to visit: … “The Art of Dr. Seuss,” a retrospective and national touring exhibit, (Atlas Galleries: opening, 5:30pm tonight), celebrates the 100th birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, the cartoonist who gave you your first dose of surrealistic life lessons. But don’t expect bedtime stories — most of the 150 pieces on display include obscurities like the secret art Seuss painted late at night, his early work in advertising, fictional taxidermy projects (two-horned Drouberhannis, anyone?), and rare books that never quite went the places others had gone.”
OR, this weekend’s Street Fair Du Jour: Retro on Roscoe
This year’s 10th Anniversary Edition features an antique car and motorcycle show and MANY music acts, including ChicKnits perrenial favorite, Liquid SOUL…

Nice new threads. That blue looks great on you and you’re one of the few lucky ones who looks fab in a belted waist.so slim,so stylish.
:0)
Bonne Marie, what a faboo cardigan! Dare I hope you will be providing us with the opportunity to purchase same? Have a great weekend. :-)
Ooh. I want! :)
Cute cardi! I’m sharing your frigid summer temps here in the Midwest, and a cotton cardigan would be perrrfect right about now…
You are too cute for words. I love thsi design and several of your other recent ones. They’re all so wearable and yet fun.
I was totally distracted from the cardie by your shiny white gleaming smile.
;-)
wonderful cardi. now that’s one of those “wear all the time” kind of sweaters! you look great in it! beautiful design! a must knit.
Bonne Marie, that cardigan is definitely a winner. I’d like to see this on your list of available garments. :)
I love the new sweater, but I do have a question about an older pattern. I love the ribby shell, and can’t wait to make one nest spring. I do wonder, however, if you have any plans on putting sleaves on it to take it through the winter months? I have been looking for a sweater exactly like it for ages to make myself, and the Shell seems perfect. Alas, though, I am not talented enough to figure out sleave yet (I haven’t knitted any yet, either, so maybe that is part of the problem) In any case, all your patterns are absolutly beautiful.
Yay Bonne Marie! This sweater is beautiful! Love the color and the design, and I love that you use Cotton Ease. It’s great yarn, and so affordable. You are a total inspiration, and you look fabulous!
wow! cute design, especially love the length – not long, not short! i am also hoping that this will be pdf’d for us :) and yes, GLEAMING teeth :D
Cardie looks great. Love the color.
Small NorthernMichiganish! My mom grew up in Luther and her fiance hailed from Tustin.
GORGEOUS! Impeccable finishing, fit and drape. I love how you vary your knits – ponchos, tanks, jackets…and this beautiful belted cardigan.
P.S. Those boots are GREAT. I want some, too.
P.P.S. Very clever how you placed that single button an the top.
