Indeed. And from the vault of wonders…
Here are 10 skeins of beautiful vintage yarn: Gary Owen Aran Style worsted (and if anyone knows who Gary Owen was, I’m totally intrigued!) It is 50% wool & 50% nylon (microfiber) and has a nice feel and durability which made me look twice for a work sweater or teen, tween, kiddie style stuff :)
Guesstimate about 210-220 yds per skein @ 4.5-5 sts per inch (the usual, boy we love this gauge!!) I pulled out two skeins from the bundle and they weighed in at 3.7+ oz each.
