New Threads TUESDAY!

Pattern: Chic Knits Mondo Cable Pulli
Designer: Bonne Marie Burns
Yarn: Queensland KATHMANDU
One of best things about working on wool sweaters during summer weather is that they dry in no time flat!
The nature of the yarn used here (barn-yarn, tweedy, bits of hay here & there) and the fact that it’s been dragged around town for months now, meant it needed a good shampoo. I soaked it in warm soapy water and then dried it flat on a huge towel.
And was I ever rewarded! The yarn bloomed slightly and softened so much it is now extra yummy ;p
I’m totally ready for cooler weather!
I went with long sleeves on this version, knowing I’d like it more in January, and could always push them up for a little cool breeze on the wrists if needed. Also, I added about an inch to the length of this one. The thickness of the yarn (although it was spot on for gauge) just seemed to call out for a bit more length for scale and one more cable cross to balance.
Now I want to make one with cap sleeves!
Lovely!! I absolutely love this!!
it’s gorgeous. i’m patiently waiting for your new cardigan to come out.
Just beautiful. I can’t wait for Miss BB!
this is gorgeous! i’m so excited that the mondo cable has become a pulli… so simple yet so effective! (and i love it in that rustic tweedy yarn!) i need to pick up the pace on my hoodie so i can get this on the needles in time for fall…
I bought this pattern because I had done the cardi, and love your pattens, cant wait for cool weather to get started. Your lake pics are the best, I look at the same lake and love, love, love it. Cant wait to see your next design.
Very pretty sweater. I plan to buy the pattern from you soon, it’s so lovely.
