Why just the other day I overheard someone say, “Hmmm, you know, pandemic Uggs with an iPod chaser seem to be the order of the day on the #66…”

  1. I’ve recently finished listening to Angels & Demons and was also thinking that only thru the magic of the written word could a person transmit live from 60ft under. But it was an engaging read! I never would have realized that so much could happen in the course of just 24 hours.

Happy New Year! And thanks for many interesting blog reading hours.

  2. I’d go with a phrase: Intelligent Design.

I suppose the rest of it is just a happy accident?

  3. How ’bout the ever-so-popular phrase – “that’s hot”? It had to make some list out there.

  4. from a Miriam, I’ll just bet the Merriam Webster Dictionary is what you meant to say. Because us Miriam’s can’t spell for diddly. I could be wrong.

  5. I like Miriam Webster – sounds like a old neightbor of mine – and you know, I can’t spell worth a damn that’s how I found this crap to begin with, teeheeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…….

  6. I’m a “first time caller” at your site. What a gorgeous sweater in your previous post! However, I must say that the word BLING ought to be permanently banned from our language ;-)

  7. The phrase at work (in NYC) was, “going forward…”
usually meaning something that my boss wants to happen (but doesn’t).

    The other, (unfortunately) was “buyout.”
