First of all, I’d like to register my extreme astonishment that the word FIERCE didn’t make the cut… Tyra must be pitching a high maintenance fit somewhere this very minute! But Oh, Goody! Why just the other day I overheard someone say, “Hmmm, you know, pandemic Uggs with an iPod chaser seem to be the order of the day on the #66…”

I love the banished words list that Lake Superior State U puts out every year.
I’ve recently finished listening to Angels & Demons and was also thinking that only thru the magic of the written word could a person transmit live from 60ft under. But it was an engaging read! I never would have realized that so much could happen in the course of just 24 hours.

The phrase at work (in NYC) was, “going forward…”
usually meaning something that my boss wants to happen (but doesn’t).
The other, (unfortunately) was “buyout.”
