For once in my life, the Holiday knitting is finished before the clock strikes Midnight! Although like many of you, I’ve wanted to clear the deck of ALL projects before that 5 morphs into 6, I am happily satisfied I got this Far – ususually about now, my biological imperative and lack of finishing is making me dig deep in the back forty of the closet, like some crazed fashion anthropologist, WILLING something/anything to appear that will get me through the next round of holiday cheer.

I can’t wait to wear this – it’s part of my New Year’s *Party Frock* and will be paired with a skirt, black hose and high black pumps.

Pumps. I love that word. It is very p-p-p-arty.

  3. Wonderful choice for the closure! It has the shape of the frog with a touch of sexy sweet. Well done on the Crimson Trio. Enjoy the party!

  4. Whee, fabulous! You will be the life of the party in this lovely little number! (Not that you need the sweater for that, but it’s gorgeous anyway.)

  5. Oh, stunning. I’m thinking I may need to make something like this. I love everything about it, the mandarin collar, the key hole detail, the color, the trim, and the brooch is perfect. It’s really great.

  6. chu been busy bebe’. Hey, I got to spend three lovely hours in ORD on the 28th. Got a lot of knitting done. Thank you JESUS for allowing yarn on the planes.

The Red Dragon is divine, dal’in. I also saw the ribby in a knitting magazine while standing in the magazine stand killing time in ORD. How is that for kharma?

    Enjoy the New Year.
