  1. Very cool, Bonne Marie! And what a great way for the station to support school music programs, too.

  2. Hey! My Dad went to Glenbard West! He was in the band too! My Grandparents still live in Glen Ellyn too! I love that town…

  6. hi, this comment isn’t really about this post, but i didn’t know where to put it, just want to say thanks for posting the link to the shizzolator, it’s the most hilarious thing i’ve seen in awhile, esp. when putting various knitting blogs through… also, i’m in china and sometimes the internet won’t access certain sites, but if i put them through the shizzolator they’ll work… they’ve been shizzled, but that’s better than nothing… thanks for the laugh!

  7. Great pictures – I grew up in Glen Ellyn and went to Glenbard West, it’s really such a beautiful old school. Fun to see you in action – you have such a gift with words (and yarn of course!)!
    I love your blog!

  8. I was thinking of you yesterday when we went to visit the USS Midway. It was opening day for the carrier and there were TV news people everywhere. I almost expected to see you popping up with a camera. We need a decomissioned aircraft carrier on Lake Michigan (at least that is what John has decided ;-) )
