Just in time for a stroll in the park! I found the perfect skirt to go with my Ribby Shell – it is the most voted for Linen Flounce Skirt from BR in a khaki color.

I do not believe I’ve ever had a lovelier fitting skirt! It follows the body down the sides, then FLOUNCES! It flares out like a little lily around my legs and even in the dressing room, I felt a little naughty grin pass my lips…

Just as polished as could be with the Shell and a little pair of s
Sliders – you can’t see the front of the shoes in this pic, but they have little buckles across the top of the shoe and stacked heels.

Add it all up and the Urban Goddess Look is Good to GO!

  1. Love that “Urban Goddess Look”. Very cute ensemble! I adore that style skirt and that tank will accompany soo many bottoms wonderfully. Skirts like that just make you want to spin around with shopping bags in hand. And then head to the next boutique! And Ribby tank is simply divine!

  2. It all looks so fine!! You are quite the professional. It’s just another example of why we respect your opinion and talent.

  3. Ooh la la! I love the shell!!! I hope it will be an addition to your patter boutique!

And you are inspiring a shopping excursion to Banana Republic! ;)

  4. The tank and skirt look fab together. I actually have the very same skirt and I agree wholeheartedly about the way it just skims the body! I think I need to go yarn-shopping myself for a little something to turn into a summer top.

    Keep up the wonderful work.

  5. Do a little twirl at the end of the runway….that is The Look of the season….(and the crowd goes wild!)

  6. Love love love the Ribby Shell. Do you need a test knitter for a larger size? And you sure do know how to put the whole look together. I have made (sewn) a couple of skirts with a flounce and they are such fun to wear! Adapted the pattern from:

This Ribby Shell is my favorite knitted top of all I have seen this year. Love the v-neck and the side ribbing most of all. Thanks a million.

  7. As always, you inspire me! The ribby tank is beautiful! In fact, I thought it was high time I quit lurking around here and gave you the credit you deserve: it was the discovery of your wonderful site & blog last fall, coupled with a few trips to the library to check out some knitting books, and a link to the wonderful site that is knitty.com that inspired me to want to learn. I self-taught by checking out children’s knitting books and am hoping to take a class ar a nearby yarn shoppe. I’m still a beginner (maybe even a pre-beginner?) but I love it and find it’s perfect therapy to have something in my hands to knit … What a gift! Thank you! Best Wishes, Kara

  8. First of all I love the ribby shell! Second, What a feminine, pretty outfit. It looks like an outfit I would wear. Can I borrow it next weekend? I hope we will be able to buy the pattern for the shell.
    Great work!
